If a buyer needs to buy bitcoin, it means he has no bitcoins, then from where he transfer security deposit to multisig wallet? Is BISQ providing facility to provide security deposit in other currencies instead of btc?
Bisq is intended for people who already have some Bitcoin. This is necessary due to design of protocol. Users who don’t have any Bitcoin are advised to ask friends to lend them some to complete their first trade or buy some locally.
Bisq can’t provide ability to place a security deposit in fiat currencies since they can’t be put in a multisig and therefor can’t be used in a decentralized way. There was support until recently for some other altcoins such as Litecoin and Dash, but they were removed due to low activity.
