I have a open trade where the seller’s country of bank is not the same country as the IBAN. I guess the seller confused the country of bank with the country he/she lives in.
Of course my bank refuses the payment if I set the wrong country - should I just set the right country and make the payment or is the seller violating the trade protocol and I shouldn’t make the payment?
Well they are technically violating the trade protocol. Refer to this wiki for more details.
I’d suggest opening a trader chat and seeing whether you guys can come to an agreement first!
