Hi everyone, I wan to create an XMR altcoin account but a message provide me to use subadress but i don’t know what it is. When I enable it, it requiers “main adress” and “private view key”, I don’t know what these terms refer to. I alredy setup a way to receive XMR with XMR application on my Ledger… Please, can someone explain me the process of using subadresses with XMR ?
If you don’t know what subaddresses are, or aren’t you quite familiar with it, I don’t recommend you to use them.
It’s easy to screw it, or at least have a bad time trying to figure out why you don’t find in your wallet the XMR your peer sent to you.

I’ve never used that myself, I have preferred to give a new main address by creating a new Bisq account, so I can’t give a lot of advice, but there are some traders using it.
I find important to be familiar with how to prove a payment, BTC buyers need to provide it in case of dispute.
