Standard deviation 12.5%?

why in the world would anyone buy a 12% price hike? i dont understand these buy offers

The smaller the amount the less attractive it is to sell BTC at close to market price due to the trader needing to pay miner fees. Generally the bigger the transaction the smaller the percentage above the market rate will be. To get the best deals you need to be buying more than 0.01 BTC.

First time you buy, as your account is not signed, you might need to pay a higher price. Sellers take an extra premium to sell to unsigned accounts.
Also, to know what prices is people paying in general, don’t look for offers that have not been taken yet, but real prices at Market - Trades.
