Stuck at "Connecting to Bitcoin Network"

I installed the latest release 1.9.17 (mac version) to resolve the synchronizing hang issue at block 849137. After the installation, my Bisq client is just stuck at “Connecting to Bitcoin Network” for almost a day when launching.

I’ve tried deleting SPV file and resync as well as connecting to Tor via bridges but with no success.

What other things that I need to try to get this resolved?

I think you have disabled tor for bitcoin connection.

Looks like that trick works but it has been stuck at synchronizing block 842387 for more than a hour already:

I shut it down and restarted that whole process again and that solved it.
