Stuck in initialization

Hi I’m new to Bisq and need some advice on how to resolve my problem.

I’m stuck on the splash screen with “Initializing”, “P2P network peers: 12”.

Here’s how I got there:
Installed Bisq, started it up and got the UI. Transferred coins to Trade Wallet. Coins never show up in Bisq.
I check the wallet online and the coins are there. Wait a couple of hours. Restart Bisq, Wait more hours.
All the time Bisq is showing “Initializing” in bottom right corner.

Read this forum and someone suggested deleting SPV chain. I do that and I’m stuck on the splash screen as described above.

What I’ve tried: Restarting Bisq. Waiting overnight. Restarting computer. Turning off firewall completely. Testing Tor browser. Nothing seems to change anything.

For info: I’m on a Mac and I have the seed words for the Trade wallet.

I would appreciate it a lot, if someone could suggest what to do to resolve this issue.
Thx

After deleting SPV chain file you need to restart twice as far as I know.

You can always copy your data directory somewhere safe and delete it so Bisq starts as it is being run for the first time. Then you could restore your wallet in Bisq with the seed words or simply restore it in a wallet like Electrum with those seed words.

Thx, I already restarted many times.
I’ll try to do what you suggest, but I was just going through the log and saw this error repeating all the time:

Ok. I backed up the data directory and deleted the original. Now Bisq starts up.
How do I import my old trade wallet?

Maybe @ManfredKarrer can look at your log above to investigate the issue.

Just restore the wallet from the seed words as I mentioned above.

Ok, I restored the wallet.
It still says it has a balance of 0 and when I check an external source it shows that I have coin in the wallet.
Why is it not reflected in Bisq?

BTW:
The log still contains the same error as posted earlier, so I guess it’s not related to the initialization issue, but is general error.
Also it still says “Initializing” with the bar going back and forth in the bottom right corner.

Can you send me the log file? I PM u my email. Also the tx id and address where u have sent the funds.
