I have seen that on bisq1 for sepa payments it is mandatory to put the transaction ID in the sepa payment description. Is this also the case for Bisq easy? If not, how can the transaction be associated to the trade?

When you trade on Bisq 1 you should leave the payment reference field blank. When you trade on Bisq Easy you should follow the instructions of the seller for what reference they would like you to provide.
