New user here. I’ve accepted to trade via SEPA transfer. I’m about to transfer payment but I’ve checked the IBAN number given on ibancalculator and it gives a different BIC (i.e. different bank) than the BIC shown under the payment information. This is a little suspicious and I’m hesitant to send payment.
Since I don’t see a way to cancel the trade what are my options in this case? Will I loose my security deposit since I didn’t start the payment?
Can you PM me the IBAN, BIC and onion address of the peer? I had a similar case as dispute where the BIC was not correct.
You can open a dispute by cmd+o. you will not lose your deposit of you have not broken the contract.
